Description

Helicobacter hepaticus is responsible for chronic hepatitis and liver cancer in mice. It has also been linked to inflammatory bowel disease in immunocompromised mice. H.hepaticus does not colonize the stomach but inhabits the lower bowel. (HAMAP: HELHP)
